The Bold Audio BA218 is an extremely powerful subwoofer engineered to deliver high sound pressure levels in a very compact enclosure making the BA218 the right choice for live sound, touring and fixed installation applications.

The BA218 contains two custom 18Sound 18-inch drivers with substantial 5.3-inch voice coils, capable of handling 3600W AES, 7200W Music Program and 20,000Watts Peak power. The BA218 drivers have a class-leading 70mm excursion capability combined with a proprietary forced cooling assembly that contributes to only 2dB power compression at maximum output.

What does this all mean? The Bold Audio BA218 has the ability to outperform two competitive dual 18 inch subwoofers while taking up less truck space and using less manpower to achieve this; therefore the return on investment to the owner is quicker.

The BA218 enclosure is made from premium 18mm Russian Birch plywood providing an extremely robust and solid cabinet that is heavily braced internally to withstand sustained high output levels. The BA218 is finished with a texture coat of Warnex water-based coating therefore it’s scuff and scratch resistant. The exterior also features our Skidlok nylon interlocking skid system which works to interlock multiple subwoofers eliminating cabinet shifting due to vibrations and possible damage and scratches when moving the speaker.
